O.K. this blog post goes out to the recent movies I saw. Let's start with "The Lovely Bones".
This is a great movie, it is really weird. You should totally not be in this universe when viewing this movie. It is about a little girl who gets killed by a guy in their neighborhood. And no-one suspects him. He is soooo
creepy. He killed more than just her too. She gets stuck in the middle, between heaven and earth. She wants to help her dad find her killer. This is where all the weird stuff takes place. They walk right from one season, and into another. The weeds turn into water. Weird. ok, so I don't want to give away the end, so let's move on.

Now for the "Blindside" This movie has Sandra Bullock in it. And folks, let me tell you, she is in rare form. She plays a part in this movie like I have never seen her. She's more mature. Anyway, this boy has no home, someone wants him to play football, gets him into a private school, his mom-a crackhead, so sad. Long story short, they take him in, and he becomes one of their family, and happily ever after. You didn't think I was going to tell you did you?

"New in Town" is a pretty good movie, a girl wanting to be C.E.O. for her company lives in Miami, has to relocate to Minnesota, to run a plant, relly to go in and cut their labor by 50%. So, she starts the termination list, then starts to get to know everyone, and she likes it there. She finds out they are going to close the plant completely. Takes it upon herself to save the day, the plant, and the town.
"The Proposal" This one also has Sandrs Bullock in it. A great movie, an Editor, who finds out she is an imigrant, and must return to Canada, forces her
assistant to marry her by blackmail. But after a trip to Alaska, to meet his family and pull off the sharod, she not only falls in love with him, but also with his family.

"The Ugly Truth" This is a great movie too, this chic watches this guy on tv, who she is repulsed by, he ends up at her station. She has to end up working with him, side by side. He wants to coach her, so that she will end up dating the guy next door, whom she is not really happy dating, she thought she was. I think the repulsed guy is better anyway, he is spontaneous, and alive, a real tough guy, and not a pretty boy.
Let's move on....."Julie/Julia" This was an ok movie, a girl starts bloggi
ng for a year, writing about her adventures of cooking her way thru Julia Child's cookbook. 365 days/524 recipes. She gets some recognition. That's about the some of it. And last, but (not)least...LOL.

"Blue Smoke" This one is a Nora Roberts movie, based on the book. Let me just say, this is one that should have just stayed a book. I was not happy with this movie. It started off in the middle, then they would flash around, showing as if she is remembering, the fires of her past, thank God I already read the book, or I would have been lost. It seemed too quick and choppy. The worst one out of the 7 I viewed.
