Higher Persistance

I was going to just add this one to my random moments. But, I decided to make a whole different post about this.

So, I was havin a not so good night. I had to close, and we got out kiñda late. It was goin on midnight, and my husband had text me and ask if it wasn't too much trouble, if I could stop and pick up a pack of smokes for him. Well, I wanted a Monster Energy Drink anyway. I had been havin a cravin all day for one, and we were out. And no-one ordered any...

Any who who, let's get to the point,
So I stop at one of the few conveient stores open at this hour. Go in, this lady was lockin up the beer, nice she was.

I was askin about price range and what not....so anyway we had got on the subject of my daughter and her just comin from Tennessee, yada, yada, yada...

So, then she like starts telling me her whole story. How she came here from a nearby city, but it was for the best. She has her grand-daughter living with her. She loves her dearly. Well her son was comin back from the service, but this she already knew, she told her family "I knew it, I dreamed it. I told you never doubt my intuitition."

So he did. But let me back up, because I think this part happened before he left. He and his wife were married for 7 years. Then, they divorced. The next day, after they split, she went and got a boyfriend all of a sudden. (Bull, the cashier and I both knew it). Turns out, 5 out of those 7, she had been cheating. Not faithful, not ONE time. Poor guy. Their little girl 5 years old was in the car with her when she went to meet this guy "that she just so happened to run into at the park". The little girl asked her grandmother "why was mommy kissing on that strange guy when she's married to my daddy?".

Awww...bless her heart. Makes your heart just melt. :/

So, she tells me how she likes her job, and never would have worked 3rd shift anywhere else. But that there was lots of lights and 13 security cams on the property. And if they robbed her, they could even shoot her. Because she was going to make sure of it. Because they were going to get caught. LOL.

She went on to tell me how her and her family were going to move behind the station, and they were all going to walk to work. And she tells me, that just knows for sure that her grand-daughter would be pregnant by sixteen.

Well, I can't say too much there. I was, and maybe one of my daughters may be too. :/

Well, I am not usually one to gab on and on with strangers. But this lady was really nice, and I think she may have needed to let it all out. Just tell somebody how she really feels. I didn't go into nearly as much as she...

Anyway, this lady turns out to be the advice giver, if you know what I mean. She loves to tell you what you should do, and what you shoulda done. And before you can even complete a sentence. So she is like you probably need to take her to church, therapy, and make her quit smoking. (Not in that exact order, lol, you believe that?)

Anyways, I went on to tell her how good things were going...and since she had came to our house she had gotten off all anti-depressants...and she hasn't needed a therapist in the whole 4 months she been here...and her daddy quit drinkin, and he doesn't cry anymore. (He hadn't seen her since she was 7, she is 16 now).

I don't think I told her all of that, but after I told her, then she had told me that I had persistance, I had persistance from a higher place. Somewhere other than here. Maybe that was my purpose. They say everyone has one. Maybe mine was to help my husband find his daughter, and re-unite them again. :)
